Wall stickers for a boy's room - Planes History

Wall stickers are a quick way to beautifully decorate a child's room. Stickers for a child's room with cars will surely appeal to every boy. You can decorate your toddler's room according to his interests, while gaining an amazing visual effect on the wall.

A wall sticker for a boy's room with planes is not only aesthetic, it also has an educational function. Learn the history of the planes depicted on the wall stickers:

  • the plane of the Wright brothers - in North Carolina, America in 1903, this invention flew 36 meters in 12 seconds! The first ever heavier-than-air plane that flew like the wind!
  • Curtiss P-40 with a shark's mouth from the first half of the 1930s. One of the main American military planes during World War II (Pearl Harbor) and ... a Hollywood star! This plane (in the movies) was used by John Wayne or… the future president of the United States, Ronald Reagan!
  • silver-blue Helldiver, also called "The Beast", from the same period. The first to "dive" and take to the top again in seconds.
  • Douglas with a red arrow. Passenger planes were built for the first time in the 1930s. The transatlantic liner, which could be boarded by 20 to 60 people, was a real revolution! Legend has it that the contract for these planes for America was signed ... on cigarette paper!
  • big, wonderful line planes like Airbus and Boeing. The largest one can accommodate 850 passengers and fly almost 1000 km / h (i.e. 3 football fields in a second!)
  • supersonic flights mean that the aircraft develops a speed greater than the speed of sound. The speed of sound is around 1,200 km / h, and these planes can fly at 2,100 km / h (that's about 3.5 hours from Europe to New York!). The last plane of this type took off in 2003, but there is a high probability that we will see new ones in 2027-2030!

Collection of wallpapers for children and stickers Dekornik Industrial Evolution

Industrial evolution is a tribute to human achievement. This collection shows how much we have accomplished. How long we've come and what we still have to do. That is why you will find stickers in the shape of the first planes and cars, a revolutionary invention of the steam train, factories and mills. But also a turn to the future: rockets, a futuristic green city, windmills and cars that will not pollute the air.
Technology is there to serve us, that's why it was invented. We know that there is a bright horizon ahead of us and among our little history fans there are those who will change the course of the future! And even more beautiful! Support your little geniuses!

Wall stickers for children's room - technical information

Dekornik stickers are printed on a material that feels like… fabric. It is not an ordinary advertising foil, but a polyester material, specially invented in faraway Korea and brought to Europe by the Belgians, for interior decoration. And we just found it in Belgium.

The material has a strong acrylic-based adhesive and the so-called block-out function, which means that no color element on the wall shows through the sticker.

The sticker has a delicate structure, barely perceptible (like the material), but it is this material that provides a strong and wonderful color reproduction.

The material is exceptionally easy to glue, has strong glue, but not as strong as all advertising films, for example, that catch from the first second.

Stickers also do not have the so-called transport foil, additional, which so far was necessary in the production of all stickers. The simplicity with which stickers are applied allows you to avoid this additional and often redundant point of the program.

Note, before sticking the sticker - and any wall material - please carefully prime the wall and clean the surface of dust or grease. Stickers can be stuck on the walls only after approx. 20 days from the last painting.
